Gardenstar website live

The new Gardenstar website is live! Gardenstar is a new backyard biodiversity programme, which aims to increase native species while boosting human well-being. Launched in cooperation with Te Atiawa, Ministry for the Environment, University of Otago and the Endangered Species Foundation, Gardenstar supports the development of urban gardens to feed and nourish Aotearoa's native species.

87% of Kiwis are urban-dwelling and most people have access to a garden where rare endangered species can grow and thrive.
